Synopsis
The work draws inspiration from the movement and spirit of the diverse cultures that shape our daily lives—from the intimacy of the home and the energy of the street to the vibrant, multicultural fabric of Israeli society.
Lisan reimagines the distinct movement vocabulary pioneered by Israel Prize laureate Sara Levi-Tanai. It honors her legacy by serving as a living bridge between heritage and innovation, anchoring timeless roots within a bold, contemporary voice.

The choreography unravels and reweaves the movements that have become synonymous with the 'Inbal vocabulary'—the unique creative style of Sara Levi-Tanai. And what a soundtrack! The dancers in the piece act as an amplifier, listening to it with their entire bodies and further echoing a rich and diverse tradition of East and West, seamlessly merging old and new.
